This workshop covers;

  • The horse’s physique –the skeleton and muscles
  • The rider’s physique
  • Right and wrong muscle development
  • How to get your horse to move correctly on the lunge
  • Demonstration of the horse under saddle

Lungeing and in-hand work

Lungeing and in-hand work should be a part of every horse’s training. It can develop suppleness and obedience in preparation for ridden work.

This workshop covers;

  • How to get started with lungeing
  • How to know if your horse is working properly
  • Training aids- what they are for and how to use them correctly
  • Double-lungeing and long-reining explained
  • Lungeing over poles

Schooling with Ground Poles

Schooling over poles can help every horse’s training whether you like dressage, jumping, or cross country.

This workshop covers;

  • Laying out poles for different exercises
  • Demonstration of schooling over poles including;
  • Transition work
  • Improving the gaits
  • How to ride accurately
